Ömür Vural TAŞDEMİR's Biography

Born in 1981 at Kocaeli/Turkey. Graduated from Kuleli Military High School in 1999 then graduated from Middle East Technical University Department of Chemical Engineering in 2005.

He worked for Ford Otosan as paint shop process engineer and Kordsa Global as technical engineer.
After 6 years in production he moved to chemical and process safety area in 2012 with a consultancy company. He joined BASF in 2015 as regional process safety expert for Turkey, Middle East and Russian regions. Since January 2021 he is the global EHS leader of Dispersions, Resins & Additives Division of BASF with a scope of more than 7000 colleagues and 72 plants located at more than 20 countries.
